This summer, Zaca Mesa Winery begins an exciting new chapter where exceptional winemaking meets original art in the heart of Santa Barbara wine country.
We’re proud to introduce Summer Crush, a vibrant new chilled red wine from California’s Santa Ynez Valley, crafted for beach sunsets, backyard dinners, and everything that makes a California summer unforgettable.
Fresh, approachable, and best enjoyed with a slight chill, Summer Crush offers a fresh take on California red wine — bright, easygoing, and made for warmer days. It’s more than a new wine; it’s the art of summer captured in a bottle.
Summer Crush also marks the debut of the Zaca Mesa Artist Series, an ongoing collection of limited-edition wines from Santa Barbara County wine country, featuring original artwork created in collaboration with artists inspired by California’s landscapes, culture, and creative spirit.
We’re honored to launch the series with South Bay Reserve, the inaugural collection featuring photography by Bo Bridges. For more than two decades, Bo has documented the world’s coastlines, cultures, and defining moments through a lens shaped by adventure and a deep connection to place. His work is represented through Bo Bridges Gallery, with galleries in Manhattan Beach, Maui, and Vail, where his large-scale fine art photography has become synonymous with coastal living, exploration, and the spirit of the American West.
As the inaugural artist, Bo brings a collector’s perspective to the series—one that celebrates not only what’s in the bottle, but the story wrapped around it. Inspired by the iconic beaches, piers, surf, and golden light of Southern California, South Bay Reserve transforms each bottle into a celebration of place, bringing together exceptional winemaking and original fine art in a collection designed to be enjoyed, displayed, shared, and remembered. The Zaca Mesa Artist Series is just the beginning.
